FAB 94.5 partnered with AOTC to put Chicago's #1 Hitz Station in front of one of the day's largest live audiences. Rather than chasing in-store foot traffic, the goal was straightforward: use Hammond's peak festival energy to keep the station highly visible, easy to remember, and connected to the crowd already gathered for the main event.
The Case Study
When tens of thousands are already moving through one place, the opportunity isn't to explain your brand from scratch — it's to be the one they see and remember.
FAB 94.5 needed a route that matched the festival day's energy. Not a foot-traffic campaign — an awareness and visibility play keeping the station top of mind.
A six-hour Hammond route with FAB's creative displayed large on the LED screens, positioning the station in front of festival traffic as Chicago's #1 Hitz Station.
The Route
The route was designed around one outcome: place FAB 94.5 directly inside Hammond's highest-attention festival window and repeat the station message where music fans were already moving. Festival traffic concentrated listeners in one market — a highly relevant crowd, not a broad, unfocused audience. The creative gave viewers immediate next steps: listen live, visit the site, follow the station after the truck moved on.
The Creative
The display was treated like a moving station billboard: oversized identity first, positioning second, and clear listening and social pathways last. Strong red, white, and black contrast made the station instantly recognizable from a distance while reinforcing the promise — Chicago music, Chicago identity, an always-on station listeners could connect with after the activation.
The Result
AOTC turned a peak festival day into a moving visibility play for FAB 94.5. If your audience is gathering, be the brand they see while the moment is hot.
